Spotlight on: Chandra Cantor & Borealis Community Yoga

A man stands next to a table of produce with a sign that says "Food For Free."

We’d like to give a shoutout to Chandra Cantor and the team over at Borealis Community Yoga who recently hosted a community yoga class to benefit Food For Free, raising over $1400 and helped spread awareness about food access, food insecurity, and food rescue in our community!

We love it when our supporters find creative ways to not only contribute as individuals, but to amplify their impact by engaging their own communities:

Our Ride for Food team does this each year by riding bikes and raising funds for the Food For Free cause…

our friends at Viale did it in November by donating their time, talent, and (of course) food for a special benefit brunch…

and in December, Chandra and Borealis did an amazing job of fostering community among participants while supporting food access in our community. So inspiring!
