The Greater Boston Food Bank

The Transportation Partnership is a new collaboration with The Greater Boston Food Bank.

The Transportation Partnership picks up food from the Greater Boston Food Bank for Cambridge food programs that do not have their own transportation. Participating food programs order their food-which may include USDA items, donated foods, or food purchasing through the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program (MEFAP)—directly from the Greater Boston Food Bank.

  • 1,000,000 pounds of food will be transported over the next year
