We’re pleased as punch to announce that our new partnership with Music for Food will launch with the current season’s finale on Sunday, May 26th!
Music for Food believes that “both music and food are essential to human life and growth”, and their concert series, presented at the New England Conservatory, pairs talented young artists with internationally recognized professionals with the purpose of “fighting hunger in our home communities and sharing the nourishing power of music with growing audiences.”
Admission is by donation, and 100% of donations received will go to Food For Free.

We’ll be out at two Harvard Square festivals in early June, spreading the word about Food For Free! We invite you to bring a friend and stop by our table to chat with us about what we do, ways to support us, volunteer opportunities, and more.
The Cambridge River Festival is a well-loved free annual event along the banks of the Charles River, and includes national and local jazz, folk, world music, dance, poetry, giant puppets, and theater performances (and of course, community nonprofits like Food For Free!)
The Dance for World Community Festival, now in its 5th year, “brings together a diverse group of the area’s dance performers, dance instructors, and social service and advocacy agencies to celebrate the power of dance to create social change.” Expect lots of dance classes, performances, and community nonprofits.
