We were out spreading the word about Food For Free at the Central Square World’s Fair on Saturday, May 18th. Visitors to our table could sign up to volunteer on our farm, join our e-mail list, or chat with our staff and volunteers to learn about Food For Free’s work.
The World’s Fair is described as “like a giant block party—if all your neighbors were artists, DJs, chefs, and scientists.” (There was even be a Soul Train runway!)
WHEN: Sunday, May 18 | 12pm-8pm
WHERE: University Park | Central Square, Cambridge, MA
Thanks to our seriously awesome volunteers Jee-Eun, Melinda, and Sebastian, who helped out with this event! (If you think you’d enjoy volunteering with events, we invite you to fill out our volunteer application.)
