Chef Steve Johnson of Rendezvous will take you and your guests on a 45 minute guided tour of the Central Square Farmers Market any Monday during the lunch hour. Local and sustainable dining is the guiding principle behind menus at Rendezvous. See how Steve finds his inspiration and creates dishes around what is available at any given time. He knows almost everyone at the market—and at the end of the tour you will, too. Steve will work with you to find a mutually agreeable date for the tour. The Central Square Farmers Market is open from late May to late November on Mondays only. If you’re lucky, several vendors may be offering free samples.

And, as a special treat, stop by the Parker Farm (founded in 1990 by Steve Parker) stand for the opportunity to spend a $100 credit with the help and guidance of both Chef Steve & Farmer Steve. Farmer Steve Parker grows some of the most interesting and varied produce around, and you’re sure to go home with great ideas and the produce to go with them.
